The "points of view" with the above thumbnails are more than battlefield geography, but commentary on the momentous happenings that occurred here on July 3, 1863. The "southern view" is of the sunrise over the infamous "Angle" in the northern defensive line. The "northern view" tells and shows the position of Cushing's Battery at "The Angle."
