Arp 273- Two Interacting Galaxies 300 million light years distant in Andromeda

Wikipedia Link

A pair of interacting galaxies spanning only 2.5 arc minutes on the sky. A full moon would fully obliterate this entire field of view. The brightest star in angular proximity to the galaxies is a double star system HIP 10999 at mag. 8.7 and 2000-2600 light years distance. The galaxies are some 300 million light years distant. Imaged from Nova Scotia, Winter, 2021
