Black-Capped Chickadees
Nearly everybody's favourite.
Red Breasted Nuthatch
I am always amused by the antics of these little birds. They are very tolerant of human beings. While I have made no attempt to hand feed them, one did accept a seed from my hand when I was refilling the feeder. They are very small and make a distinct "quacking" noise just like little ducks.
White Breasted Nuthatch
Much larger cousins to the Red Breasted and not so common in my garden here in Nova Scotia.
