Medway River, Southwestern Nova Scotia

1998 and 2009

There is a little-traveled gravel road winding along the eastern bank of the Medway River in southwestern Nova Scotia. It is a place with a few permanent residences and many cottages. While the scenery is not spectacular, there are many very pleasant views of this peaceful river. I watched as several osprey successfully fished one of the wider areas of the stream.
