Sh2-157 Widefield - The Lobster Claw Nebula in Cassiopeia
Imaged from Nova Scotia, very late fall, 2011 through a Canon 300mm f2.8 telephoto lens using a modified Canon T3i DSLR.
The image above is the result stacking 116 exposures totaling 10 hours, 34 minutes at f2.8 and ISO 800 through a 6nm hydrogen alpha filter.
Below the area is shown in a combination of Ha and RGB wavelengths with a total integration time of 12 hours, 34 minutes.
