Pennsy GG-1 #4859

I was passing through Harrisburg on my way back to Nova Scotia from Gettysburg when I encountered this GG-1 on static display at the train station. I was astonished! I had no idea it was there. I had never seen one of these famous electrics. They were very familiar to me however from my boyhood days when I would pour over Lionel catalogs as the GG-1 was prominently featured therein. There was a placard in the station giving the history of this particular locomotive. I am sorry I did not take the time to collect a few details.
